I'm Helen and I'm Here to Help You

I struggled with my own blood sugar imbalances in my 30’s. Every day I felt tired all the time, I got ‘hangry’ before meals, and I craved sugar among other symptoms and it was making me miserable, and those around me miserable, especially when I was ‘hangry’!

Blood tests showed my blood sugar levels were getting high. I wasn’t yet diabetic but I was on my way, and if I didn’t do anything I get there quickly, especially with a family history of diabetes. However, I found that I could change my path by making changes to my diet and lifestyle.

Ten years on and I’m by no means perfect because that’s no fun, but I feel better than ever!

Since then I have decided to make it my mission to help both men and women in a similar position to me, and also those already with prediabetes and type 2 diabetes.

It gets harder to manage on our own as we get older, especially when other factors come into play, like menopause for women, and balancing our blood sugars becomes more difficult.

That’s where I can help!

I work with individuals on a 121 basis and also run groups to help people in learning how to balance their blood sugar and support those concerned about getting diabetes or already with prediabetes or type 2 diabetes to increase their energy and feel great!
