Nutritionist Nottingham: I am a fully qualified nutritional therapist and work with clients on an individual basis and also in group programmes. I help clients with various conditions but I focus on supporting people in Nottingham and Nottinghamshire with weight loss, type 2 diabetes, prediabetes or who are worries about getting diabetes or suffer from fluctuating energy levels throughout the day.
I am here to help you if any of the below statements sound familiar:
Well if any one of those statements sounds like you then you are not alone. But the good news is help is at hand, and you don’t need to look any further.
I have been on my own personal health journey and struggled with many of those feelings all the time before taking matters into my own hands and qualifying as a Nutritional Therapist. I now make it my mission to help people in a similar position as a Nutritionist in Nottingham and Nottinghamshire.
It can be very frustrating knowing there is something that is not quite right. But not knowing where to turn for help is confusing, the medical professionals just don’t have the time to listen to you properly and your friends and family all their own personal advice, which is all different.
Well that is where Nutritional Therapy and Helen can help.
Based in Nottingham, I am a fully qualified and registered Nutritional Therapist having studies for 3 years with the College of Naturopathic Medicine (CNM) and gained my diploma in Nutritional Therapy with distinction.
I support clients as a Nutritionist in Nottingham, Nottinghamshire and across the UK in a number of conditions including digestive health, menopause, fatigue, and others but my focus areas are in weight loss and type 2 and pre-diabetes.
I have been on my own health journey, deciding to understand how diet and lifestyle changes could turn around my own symptoms of tiredness, low mood, anxiety, heart palpitations and more rather than just accepting the medication on offer. Through my training and research I managed to lose weight sustainably and lower blood sugar levels and remove all other symptoms.
As consultations are online I am not just a nutritionist in Nottingham but work across the whole UK. If you would like to know more about how I can help you then book a FREE 20 minute call now.
As a qualified Nutritional therapist my focus is all about getting to the root cause of the issue rather than just trying to address the symptoms. So often, the symptoms we get are all linked, just as our body systems are.
I take a food first approach in supporting clients making dietary recommendations to help with their conditions and health goals. It’s not just about diet though, as lifestyle choices can play equally important roles and so Nutritional Therapy looks at both. I have been through extensive training and believe in basing all my recommendations on research. Testing is also an option to be able to understand what is going on in the body. This is often used with clients to understand what is happening within their digestive system to cause the symptoms they feel or for understanding how our hormones are working. As a qualified nutritionist I have access to a wide range of tests and laboratories not available to the public.
There is sometimes the need to give the body an extra boost and supplements can play a key role in doing this. They can be used to support the body’s functions, for example energy production or hormone regulation, or can be used to increase nutrient levels of key vitamins and minerals if they are depleted. However, my approach is always to do as much as possible through diet and lifestyle.
The other key benefit of seeing a nutritional therapist is that they will always see everyone as an individual.
I will never take a one size fits all approach with my clients, everyone is different, everyone is unique, and they deserve to be treated that way. All client plans are bespoke and tailored specifically to the needs of every individual client.
You can always get started by following my Facebook Page for hints, tips and recipes.
I sees most of my clients over a number of weeks and months to be able to build on progress and adapt plans to allow clients to achieve their health goals and ambitions. These programmes start with an initial consultation which lasts over an hour to really understand what is going on for you, what symptoms you have and how your medical and family history could be playing a role. After the initial consultation there will be a series of follow up consultations lasting 30-45 minutes and at intervals that are bespoke to you for you to get the most out them.
I am not just a Nutritionist Nottingham but work across the UK as I see all my clients online via zoom and this enables you to be able to have your appointment from the comfort of your own home without having to worry about travel, and the costs I save from not having a clinic I can pass on to you.
Consultations start from £150 for initial consultations and £90 for a follow up with packages available offering you greater levels of support. You can find out more details on what is available by either booking a FREE 20 minute call or by looking at the consultation page via the link below.

Exercise is always important, whether looking to lose weight or just for a healthier lifestyle overall. It doesn’t always have to be big workouts, or lifting weights at the gym. Often just moving more throughout the day and getting out and walking can see real benefits. If you are looking for support and gyms, swimming or programmes then Active Nottingham have a great range of offerings.
