Helen is a nutritionist in Sheffield. She has studied with the College of Naturopathic Medicine (CNM) and gained a diploma in Nutritional Therapy with distinction. Through her studies she has learnt all about the different body systems, how they work, how they are all linked and how dietary and lifestyle changes impact them for both good and bad.

Helen now spends her time supporting clients on a 121 basis in Sheffield and across the UK, she sees clients struggling with a variety of health conditions.  She looks at what is behind these conditions for each individual client as the causes and symptoms are different for everyone and therefore the support plans should be different for everyone too.

Normally, every condition is given the same course of action but by working with Helen and using Nutritional Therapy your condition and symptoms will be treated as uniquely as you are. Helen will delve into your medical and family history to help build the picture of how you have got to where you are, she will look at your current diet and lifestyle and then in partnership with you she will create a bespoke plan of dietary and lifestyle changes to help you take back control of your health.

Although Helen’s focus is as a Nutritional Therapist it doesn’t mean dietary advice is all she offers. Part of Nutritional Therapy is taking into account the various lifestyle factors. Stress, Sleep, Exercise and Nature can all play key roles in our health and good health and wellness needs these to be addressed as it can’t be achieved by diet alone.

One of Helen’s top tips is to get out in nature as much as possible. Whether that is exercising (e.g. running or cycling) or just a gentle stroll, sitting with a book in a park or spending time with your family outdoors, they all have huge benefits for your health.

Some of Helen’s favourite green spaces in and around Sheffield include:
